Ok, when our son began his 3rd grade year we knew it wasn't going to be easy. Students are required to pass the reading portion of the state TAKS test to advance to the 4th grade. The teachers at Crockett Elementary are great but we knew that he needed some one-on-one extra help to catch him up in his reading comprehension strategies. We met with Natalie & Mundi, founders of "Unlock the Box" innovative learning in Weatherford. After doing a full assessment on Chase, they new exactly what areas he needed help in and the best way to teach him so he could understand. In September we knew we had a long road ahead but we were going to do what to took to help Chase pass the TAKS. His grades on practice tests & his report card have improved tremendously. We're so excited to say that HE DID IT! Congrats Chase on passing! We're grateful that his teachers and principal have been willing to work with the tutors at "Unlock the Box". I just wanted to let everyone know how to get in touch with "Unlock The Box" if you have a child that needs an extra push in school. http://learningunlocked.com/ We appreciate everything they have done for us. Thanks!

Have you been ready to check out at the gas station, fast food etc. & had to wait until the clerk finished their phone call before helping you. Or they act like helping you is such a bother. After this happened to me the other day I remembered a hilarious Mad TV sketch I saw. Click the link below and see if you can relate to this. Hopefully not!

These are a few of the photos I did of my cousin Pattie & her family. The girls had a blast. These were taken in one of the "Downtown" spots I have been using lately. It's a great alternative for folks that want something different than the standard garden session.
I also did a few shots of Pattie. Check out her acting resume.
All her hard work is paying off . We're proud of you!
Here's a slide show of some others we did .

Hey everyone. I've been wanting to create a blog for awhile now. Most photographers have a blog linked to their web site to inform everyone of upcoming events, personal views etc. I think its even a great way to connect with customers before they even use our services. We launched our new website in January & the response from it has been great. Our first site was created by Monte Jordan in January of '06 & it was just what we needed to showcase what we could offer to potential clients. He did a great job. After a few years we needed a change. My friend Cindy Gravitt, http://www.gravittproductions.com/ told me about http://www.bludomain.com/ They offer very inexpensive template websites that you can easily manage yourself. It was the best way for us to go. We have been very pleased with their services. I'm really not trying to advertise here, I've just had several people ask about who did the site. Anyway, I just wanted to welcome everyone to our first blog, and I plan on updating it often. Please feel free to leave comments. We hope you will check back soon for updates.
Two years ago I was looking through all of the amazing old photos taken around Weatherford. It was awesome to see horse drawn carriag...
