A Dose Of Awkwardness

From time to time I will log onto the site AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com The site features hilarious images sent in (usually) the owners of the photos with a equally funny captions to go along. I browsed through & found some of my pics to post. When I was looking through, I noticed more than one awkward thing in a few of these.

Can you guess who's going through their rebellious teen years?

It's the fantastic floating Grandma.

Pay no attention to the annoying daughter choking in front of you.

A few years ago I had a mother-of-the-bride request something similar to this shot. The bride looking into a mirror to see her childhood reflection. The only difference was my version had a fully dressed bride. Really???

Isn't it kinda pointless to use a backdrop when the background is visible?....hmm

These two homes could be featured on the show Hoarders! Wouldn't you find another sopt to pose with your family? Maybe away from all the junk you have piled in front of your house? lol

Ok two things...First, the duelling horse shirt is too cool, but then there's mom making dad keep
his hands off!

This makes me laugh because we have someone in our family who is notorious for cutting & scratching ex's out of photos & still displaying the nicely cropped image. Very funny to me.

A question I get a lot is "what should we wear. My answer is to definitely stay away from large patterns, especially multiple large patterns. Well, here's why.

The new baby doesn't look to happy.

Texas Weather

Over the weekend we had some amazing weather. After setting up our bridal fair booth on Saturday, we took advantage of our spring like warmth & headed out to the batting cages. Since spring ball try outs/draft is next weekend we needed to get our son back in the swing.....literally. In true Texas fasion, old man winter is supposed to roll back in town tomorrow, so we'll all need to hibernate for the next few days.

While out this weekend I saw a couple of photo opps. If you follow my blog, you know lately I'm all about the Apple app Instagram. It's a free application designed around iPhone photos that can be uploaded & viewed by other photo guru's like me. The app is similar to a networking site but all about pics. Anyway...here's a couple I shot Saturday.

These shots kind of fall into my "The Edits" category showing you an unedited version along side the filtered edit.
