Morgan

This was a senior session I did last week. I always encourage the seniors to bring something to their session the represents them or something they like. Many times in the past seniors have brought their musical instruments. This was the first time I've had anyone bring an entire drum set. Morgan was wanting something different so he set up in the grass next to the tracks. It made for an unusual backdrop as I photographed him at and around the set. We also did a few with his brother Austin. We did Austin's senior photos a few years back & I guess they liked them enough to call us back. The brothers are half of a band named Monaco Red & can be found at http://myspace.com/monarcred I purchased their CD that day and it's great! I wanted to share some the shots from his session.

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone has a Happy Easter! Because of the rain in the forecast for Easter Sunday, we planned all of our functions for Saturday. Lunch with family, an egg hunt for the kiddos followed by a wonderful service a North Side Baptist Church. There was a full house for a Saturday night. It was the first of 4 services NSBC will be having this weekend. The music was great! Here are a few photos of our kids during their egg hunt.

Daddy's Girl

Everyone always says "you must have tons of photos of your kids". We really just do birthdays and Christmas shoots with them. I guess that's more than most but I don't keep the camera in their faces like people think. Especially after I have worked all day. This was just one quick photo I did while we were at Chandor Gardens one day last week. I couldn't resist showing off the latest shot of Jenna. We will be doing her 4 year old photos in the next month. I'm sure I will post some.

It's Spring Time Again

Well it's that time of year again. Spring is one of the busiest times of the year for us. The trees are budding out and the grass is green again. Our favorite garden setting is Chandor gardens here in Weatherford. For an additional $30, Chandor will allow us to use their garden for an hour. ($70 for 2 hour bridal) Chandor has a great variety of areas to use in a condensed area. Everything from an elegant bridge over water to natural looking waterfalls. Its the best. Here are a couple of recent sessions we have had at Chandor Gardens.

Many of our customers are interested in the urban downtown photos we are now offering. This setting isn't for everyone but it's a great alternative to the same ole garden sitting you may have done in the past.
