ghost, goblins and all that is creepy.
All great fun!
Fall has always been one of my favorite times of the year. As a young kid I always enjoyed Halloween a great deal. I grew up in the 80's, never missing the opportunity to catch showings of those horror cult classics like Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, just to name a few. Back in the day I was known to borrow my parents huge video cam-corder and make a cheesy homemade horror short film. It's so embarrassing to look back at those now. In this age of technology it's so easy for us to now shoot video clips using our handy cell phones. Video editing apps now enable us to create relatively impressive movies with fancy transitions, sound FX's and music. I decided to have a little fun when we visited Six Flags, Fright Fest a few weeks ago. While walking through one of the 4 haunted attractions Six Flags has, I decided to video behind my son as he cautiously explored the path. The video was shot using the vintage style FX's of 8mm camers. I then used iMovie to clip & splice the video into a 1 minute 37 seconds of pure terror.... ok maybe not terror. lol Take a look.
