Sara Turns One

I can't believe that lil Sara is already one year old.  We did a quick cake smash mini session with this red headed doll & she did great, as usual!  I look forward to many more sessions with the Timmermans'....

Senior 2013

Meet Jack! We decided to use the Urban #1 & #2 locations for his senior session. He was great to work with and I feel like we captured his personality well. Oh, there were many smile pics too. I just liked how the solemn shots looked, so I posted those.

Sore Thumb

Last week I photographed two different seniors who both had unique styles.  Both of them had a "too cool for school" look about them which makes them stick out...(like a sore thumb, which isn't a bad thing)

 Here are a few of my favorite shots from Josh and Madalynn's sessions. 

 Madalynn definitely had a unique look with her striking red hair and ice blue eyes. 

Work & Fun Collide

  Well, my work trip has officially been booked! Last week I mentioned I'd have the opportunity to travel with Casey James and the band to photograph some upcoming shows. I was a bit apprehensive to mention the dates until I had plane tickets in hand.  haha. 

   On May 31st I'll fly up to Bloomington, Indiana where Casey will be showin' the folks at The Bluebird how he can tear up that guitar! It also happens to be his 31st birthday so I imagine there will be some dedicated fans there to help celebrate. The following day we'll roll into the windy city of Chicago for a stop at Joe's On Weed Street. Texas Country artist Aaron Watson will also be on the bill at Joe's.  Then for the final stop in Detroit, Casey and the guys will share the stage with Phil Vassar and Joe Nichols at 99.5 WYCD's Downtown Hoedown.  I'm looking forward to each of these stops for different reasons. Can't wait!

   It's a pretty sweet deal when work and fun collide....  My purpose is to catch some killer performance shots etc. which there will be plenty.  However, if you follow my Instagram you'll see I take pics of anything and EVERYTHING. So, I will definitely be documenting my every step on this trip.  Check back often to see what randomness I'll find.

Lynda & Nathan

I had the honor of  shooting the engagement session for Lynda and Nathan.  The couple lives in Denton so it was just appropriate that we use their historic old town square as the session location.  I can't wait until September to photograph their wedding when they will become Mr. & Mrs. Finley!
