Catching Up With Casey

It's hard to believe that just over a year ago, our small town
welcomed  Casey James back home to congratulate him on making it all the way to the top 3 spot on American Idol. This struggling Fort Worth musician found himself suddenly thrown into the spotlight after 11 years of dead end gigs in smoky bars. Not long after Idol wrapped, Sony Music saw this country blues singers potential and signed James to his first major record deal.  For the past year Casey has been hard at work writing songs with major artists and big name industry writers preparing the perfect debut country album.  It was finally announced that on August 15th Casey's first single "Let's Don't Call It A Night" will officially hit the radio airwaves.  Be sure to purchase and request this tune when it's available. Click HERE to hear his his debut single.  Congrats to Casey for all his success so far.

Another big first was when Casey and his new band played the historic Billy Bob's main stage on July 1.  Of course we purchased tickets and our group of 12 came out to support. The show was great and we enjoyed hearing the new songs that may be on the album. Here's a few images I was able to get that night.

Casey asked momma James to join him at the end of the show for a few songs.

Here's a few links you may check out to see what's next for Casey.
